A collection of photos from stays on a swiss Alp. In 2017 I first visited this place and stayed there for four months, taking care of 75 mother cows and their calves, living in remote cabins 2000 meter above sea level.

I am returning there, every year since then documenting the loneliness and raw beauty of a live far away from civilization.

This is also a reflection on animal agriculture and motherhood, on a fading form of working with animals, a way that is close to nature, but still brutal.
